Default 2001 Fatboy Rear Sprocket / Pulley

I have a 2001 Fatboy FLSTF with custom wheels and a matching pulley/sprocket (were on it when I bought it but cannot find the company that made them). Can someone help me with 2 questions? 1. What is the part number for a standard rear pulley (70T)? 2. Is it possible to use a 65T pulley instead and will that help to lower rpms at 70mph?

I've searched this site and through Google but have not come up with this info so please forgive me if it's already been answered somewhere. And yes I do have a Clymer manual for the Fatboy at home but am on the road with the bike for a couple of day and my pully teeth are deteriorating.

Thanks for any help.

If you like, post pics of your wheels, maybe we can help you find the manufacturer. Also, I have a standard pulley off my 06 FLSTF thats in great shape I may sale. You could add a chrome pulley cover on it for ~$30. Just installed some wheels that came with a matching pulley. PM me if interested. Regarding the 65 t, not sure if that would require a longer belt? Some one else may know.

Default Pictures to come

Thanks. I would love (at least until I see the price) to find an exact match. So I'll take some pictures and post here in case someone might help me. I believe the original owner worked at a Harley shop in California.

Yeah, "the price". Was very fortunate and found used wheels complete with rotors and pulley for an unbelievable price. Before buying them I looked at what they cost new. The pulley alone is $550 - yikes!

Default Wheel and Pulley Photos

First picture is of the front wheel showing the pattern.

Second photo is of the pulley itself by a little hard to see because of the saddlebag frames.

Sorry to make you click on a link but the photos are too large to attach (I think, never done this before).

Thanks for the help.

Okay, here's actual pictures of the pulley and wheel in case anyone can help me find the manufacturer of the wheels. Note that the wheel is slotted but might look solid due to the gray concrete floor behind it.

They look nice, good quality. The counter sunk pulley bolts are a nice touch. Surprised the pulley is "deteriorating"? In what way? Can you take a pic of that also. Again, they look like good quality and should last. It may be worth a call to Performance Machine. Your wheels could be a discontinued model like mine but may be some parts are still available.
