Default Crossbones Tank Decals

I just picked up an '08 Crossbones. The guy said his old lady took a rake handle to the tank. I got in touch with Attitude Custom Painting in Fla and he'll fix me up with a new tank but I need to send him the decals. Anyone know the part # on these? Your help will save me a trip to the local dealer. Thanks.

Did you ever get the decal part number? I went to Harley to purchase a set because I'm in the process of removing all pinstriping on my denim Crossbones but they wouldnt sell the decals.
Im going with a different style unless I can get the original design.

Thanks!!!!

The Xbones tank decal has no part number, it is only sold as part of a painted tank. Or as it says in the parts book:

NOTE: The fuel tank decal shown is a
factory applied process that is only sold
as part of the painted fuel tank assembly

If you only want the wording "Harley Davidson" there are some vendors on ebay selling that in similar styling.

Just MHO, but there is nothing special about having a decal on your tank. Have a good pinstriper give you the real, authentic thing.

This. I had pinstriping done at Sturgis. Tank and rear fender cost $150.00

Is there an easy way to removing all of the stock pinstriping? Or do you need to just sand the whole thing down and start fresh?
