I have a '06 FLSTCi with HD saddlebag guards. Also, I have a toolbox and the saddlebag relocation kit installed. I don't have a jack--I'm hoping I don't have to remove the wheel. I have basic mechanical skills and a decent amount of hand tools (no impact wrench).
The guard bolts are also attached to the rear pegs (female clevis is still there with a hex bolt)--I did removed the actual pegs. I can barely get my wrench to the nut on the bottom of the guards...anyone have tips?
It seems tough to turn--perhaps loctite was used. I assume it is lefty loosey (so to the right on the nut) to loosen bolt.
Ok I haven't received any responses...did my thread get buried or have I stumped y'all (or this task at hand--removing saddlebag guards a can-o-worms)? Throw me a bone, help me please ;-) THANKS!
