My wife upgraded her 1200 Sportster to a Deluxe yesterday. I'm hoping someone could help us out with finding some aftermarket bags. The ones at the dealership were way too much $$ for size (I could barely fit my lunch in them).
She is looking for some larger bags and good quality. Any assitance would be great!
I went with US Saddlebags for mine. They have a frame that mounts to the bike permanently though, so you'd need to decide if the ability to remove them and leave as little as possible behind is important. Edge Brackets would all you to install almost any saddlebag to the Deluxe.
I went with the leatherworks 110x bags complete with easy brackets and locking lids for $675 at the time. One side alone has more room than both sides of the stock deluxe bag. Have had it for 2 years now, stuffed to the max at times and has held it shape thus so far. GL with your choice and happy hunting

Just remember that you will need to change out the exhaust to accomodate the larger, lower bags.
