Default raking a fatboy

anyone ever rake their fatboy by just changing the triple trees angle, and not disturbing the frame, if so what products did you use? and what degree did you use. any pictures would be great.

This is kind of off topic, but do you have a skull air cleaner cover on your bike? I looked at the attached photo but could not tell, if so would you post a larger pic so I can see it better. Thanks

Nice bike, tons of chrome.

My Fatboy is still at stock rake but there was a post a while back where someone extended the rake by 3 degrees I think. Do a search, you may come up with something there.

Also off topic, but WARG what kind of bars do you have on yours? I'm looking for something with more rise and perhaps a bit more reachback than the stock bars, which make my back knot up after a while.

I have a set of 12.5" bars for sale if someone is interested. they came off of my fatboy, I put on chubby's 16"ers. The bars for sale are 12.5" rise 37" wide, and 12.5" pullback. They are very comfy on a fatboy. Make me an offer. Name: rockstore81306057.jpg

Bars are 12.5" Buffalo Bars from Drag Specialties. Very similar specs as the Wild1 Chubby 12.5s but they were $98.00 thru zanottimotor.com, the pull back is 12 inches. They are very comfortable for me.

Check out perse's website. There is a chart showing you what measurements to put into the computer and it will show you the trail and tell you if it's in the safe range.Just like in the 60's and 70's.I think it's Perseperformance.com but I'm not sure.

one thing to remeber with cups or a seeger cycle setup.....it pushes the triple clamps away from each other....in otherwords, your fork tin will not fit anymore. i liked this result on my deuce but it may not work for you.......
