I have a 2000 Deuce and recently purchased a timeout camper. I want to buy a hitch for my bike but have only been able to find 2 companies that make a hitch for the Deuce. If anyone has any other suggestions or better pictures, I'd love to see them.
The first is Denray. From the one reference picture on their web site, I am convinced that the hitch won't work on my bike because the hitch appears to mount to the stock exhaust bracket. I have the V&H short shot staggered system and the bracket is long gone.
The other is HitchDoc. From the picture on their web site, it looks like the hitch mounts either between the fender and strut, or over the strut. If they mount between the two, I may have a problem because I already have the Deuce Easy bracket setup on the bike that installs between the strut and fender. From the picture, the strut does not look like the stock struts. If anyone has any better pictures, I would love to see exactly how they mount to the bike prior to spending $30 shipping only to have to return them. This is the picture HitchDoc provides. I'll also attach a picture of the Deuce EasyBracket setup.
