There were three things that I thought were really cheap on my bike when it was new....the front fender trim...the tank trim and the license plate holder....all three got replace....I used the layback from HD....I like it alot....
Get a Heartland side mount. I just got one, and will be posting pics a bit later. I really like the way it looks. You will then have to find something to plug or cover the 3 holes in the fender. I had a friend make me a custom piece, but you cn get plugs from the dealer or covers from a few other sources as well. Another option is the cycle visions eliminator which will eliminate your taillight and signals and has signals and a taillight in it. There are plenty of other options as well. I can get you any and or all of these at a nice discount. PM for pricing. Drew
TK353... me, frabricate something? LOL, I can't even make a frozen pizza without burning it!
Yours looks nice though!
thanks, cost me under $20
i did have another ideal if someone wants to try it. take the lay down tag and turn it upside down and remove the harley tail lamp and harness block and use the single screw that is there and add a hole to the lay down tag in the other corner of the 3 sided mount and attach there. maybe some day i will try it my self but i like what i have. i may add the led bolts to it with 2 pointing to the tag and 2 pointing to the troll.
