I got a 05 fxst with drag bars and I want to go with apes. ? is what would b to my best wide ones or narrow ones and i want 16"

Get ones that are narrow in the center if that is what you are asking.

Narrow on your bike. Wide is for an FL style front.

spend 5 bucks at lowes or home depot and mock up a set out of 1 1/2 pvc to the specs of some of the bars you like. great cheap way to get the feel for what you want.
