Default help!!! i cannot get my belt drive sprocket off

I have a 09 softail custom and I'm installing a 250 kit. For the life of me I cannot get the belt sprocket off. I have the locking tool and 2 1\4 in socket. Now with a two foot breaker bar I cannot get it off. I have a manual and it shows the nut turning counter clockwise to remove so that's the way I'm trying. Can someone help me please the weather is to nice and I wanna start riding again.

I'm not a supper wrench or anything but if Loctight has been used you might try heating it with a hairdryer first. It seems every bolt on my bike anyway is really glued on with it anyway.

Are you talking about the clutch hub mainshaft nut (rear gear), or compensating sprocket nut (forward gear)? Clutch hub is clockwise to remove. Compensating nut is counter-clockwise to remove. You can add heat to help break the loctite or use an impact. I did the latter.

The rear belt sprocket where the belt actually rotates on.
