So what do you guys think will look best? I haven't been able to find any pics of a Lo with an engine guard so I'm asking you guys. HD's new one has built in highway pads so you don't need seperate pegs.
If you decide to go with the HD Mustachengine guard in Black I have one for sale withthe billet footpeg mounts for $ 100.00, perfect condition. I work near LAX so you could pick it up and avoid shipping costs, pm me if interested
At first I was going to put on the HD mustache bar on my Heritage until I tried one and found out I could not use the pads. Too close to the engine and had to bend my legs in to reach them. Didn't like the look of the engine guard so went with the HD whisker bar in black. Fully adjustable and gives a nice clean look up front.

Fish - You got any pictures of these on your bike? They look interesting.
I like the Nostalgic guard the best. I don't know if it comes in black, but it is rounder than the one you posted. Oncae again, I have the guard with the built in "pegs" as they are in the most uncomfortable spot for me.
I like the Nostalgic guards too. But HD doesn't appear to make them in black. They don't make lots of stuff in black. No curved, laydown license plate holders in black, no headlight visors...what gives?
Unfortunately, I don't have any pics. My camera and this Mac computer don't seem compatible with this forum. I have tried to post pics before but no success. What I did was asked the HD parts guy if I could take the whisker bar outside and hold it on the bike so I couls see what it looked like. And they ok with it. And I liked the look. It fits against the frame using the hole where the crash bar would mount. Plus it does come in black. Then you can chose any pegs you want of course. Hope this helps, sorry about the pics though. Hey just a thought! PM me with an email address and I can probably send one to you that way.
