Default Fat Cat help

Here is the deal, I got my bike out this morning and put my exhaust on and had maybe 1/16 clearance at the cam cover and double checked everything was tight, went for a short ride now its on the cam cover and have tried to adjust it and no luck really,

Any ideas?

Mine is tight at the cam chest as well but doesnt touch and when i say tight i mean a sliver of daylight between the two has never touched though maybe try tightening the upper bolts on each headpipe first and the doing the lower ones maybe give you a lil more room

loosen muffler mounts and flange bolts. hold pipe about 1/4" away and snug flanges. tighten muffler bolts. tighten flanges. steve

I gotta go check mine now. I haven't checked since my ride earlier. I think what he said above should work fined.

Rob, I just checked mine and there is plenty of space. I tightened it down like it siad in teh instructions, rear to front. I did both rear flange nuts, then the front ones and then the slip on clamp and bracket bolts.

Pipes expand when they get hot. Installed my pipes, although not a FC, and clearances looked fine til I rode it. Readjusted for more clearance, looked after riding, all is good. Snip has it right, pull outward... then tighten.
