Default 2005 Deluxe Passenger Floor Board Help

Hey everyone, I am new on the site, I am getting ready for a long ride to rolling thunder and decided to get passenger floorboards for my better half, I bought what i needed from HD but the right side just doesnt look right, where do i connect it to? does it fall a couple inches behind compared the the left side? etc I am really lost in this one, Any help would be greatly appreaciated, I am running out of time and have little time to work on it between work and travel. Thank you in advance

I've got an 07 Deluxe, so I dont know how different (if at all) they would be from yours, but I installed the HD floorboards as well (not shown on my pic), just following the instructions that came with them and they mounted fine. The left and right match up evenly. If I understand your question right ("where do I connect it to?"), you just mount them to the same threads were the stock footpegs go. Posting a pic might help to see what the issue is.

The reason I did not respond was that you gave too little information. Too much effort required to provide an inadequate response, but here we go. What are the part numbers you are trying to install? What pipes are on the bike? In a stock situation, the right side mounts to the exhaust bracket. The left side mounts differently. A lot of aftermarket exhaust removes the exhaust bracket which changes things up.

They only fit one way they are different on each side. If you put one on and it doesn't fit right swap sides.
