Default 2011 HD line

Hi there,

My first post here.
I'm about to get a new Rocker C and I'm trying to figure out when the 2011 will be out there.

Any ideas? Is it prudent to hold my horses?...can't wait.

Cheers,

Ritz

I believe they usually get released in August?

welcome!

maybe you should wait to see what comes out in 2013, that'll be the 115 anniversary.

j/k - there have been several threads about the 2011 lineup, do a search.

IMO: you should buy when you're ready to ride. why wait?

Get one now. Try and find a 2009 for a little less money. Wait for what?

You'll see the lineup debut in May-July and they'll start to show up in dealerships in July-August.

bad info there.....nothing from HD's 2011 model lineup makes its "debut" until after the dealer meeting in July

new model release is always late july or very early august. usually around the third to fourth week of July. It may have even been the second week of July last year. My birthday is July Fourth and I have never seen the new models released before then in my time. You will however see pretty much all other manufacturers release theirs earlier than that trying to beat harley to the punch.

And as for knowing what they will release? you will know when the HD website changes. All other leaks and rumors never end up being true. Case in point.... posted on hd forums last year was the C.A.R.B. paperwork for the emissions testing on the HD 2010 model year line up and it didn't come close to what actually was released. You have a better chance of hacking into the nasa database or finding the next taliban attack than finding out what harley will release. Hell honda even hired expert computer hackers to find out and now they are out of work.

I've got an '07 Electra Glide Classic that I'm waiting until 2013 to trade in for the 115th anniversary special. Hoping that they'll have some great color choices and some new wrinkles on accessories, etc.
