Default Vibrating Mirrors - Help!

I'm tired of looking in my rearview mirrors and seeing 12 headlights from one car. What's the trick to reduce or eliminate mirror vibration other than shutting the bike off? Nylon or rubber washers maybe?

I had that problem with my Sportster. ditched the oem mirrors and got some Kuryakyn Something or other magnums. Sorry can't recall the exact name but they had a much sturdier "stem", actually a double support and no more headlight "trails" in the mirrors. I'll look for them and post back by editing this.

edit: Magnum Plus mirrors from Kuryakyn
