They look great on your bike... did you get the 1.5 dia? We put thethe 1.5's on my friends bike. When he first brought them over I was like... Holy Sh*t thats thick... the wires just droped right through them...

Yup, 1.5". They weight about 25 lbs. I mean they are really heavy. No problems with the wires at all. I could put twice as many wires through there just as easily. They would look great on your ride too. Hint hint.

Thanks everyone. After riding a few miles today I have realized these bars have far less pull back than my Wild 1's which had 12.5" of pullback. I really love these bars. I am still working on the perfect angle, but am sure I will find it.

Okay, I get that you are satisfied with the look and construction of these. I'd really like if you could comment on the ride. I think I'd like more pullback. In the comfort category, who wins, Wild1 or Carlini?

I have only had these for about 100 miles o it is unfair to make a comment yet. One thing for sure is the grip portion of the bars is higher than it was on the Wild 1's. Let's see after tomorrow's ride. Maybe I can comment then. the good thing is by loosening a few bolts I can change the angle of everything real easily. Apes are so adjustable.

Drew, the Carlini's look good on your bike, and I'm sure the reduced pull back will fit your wrists a lot more naturally.

Got a question for ya... Why are you the only person I know that has to get their bike dyno'd after you change the bars? Is this a new super high tech tuner secret I dont know about?

kk6pg at work! Didn't you explain to me that the relationship of the bars to the engine necessitates the need to get the bike Dynoed after changing bars? If it wasn't that, maybe it was something about each specific bar affecting the exhaust mixture in some sort of adverse way. i can't remember how you phrased it. Thanks so much for all your help. If you weren't there my wiring dyslexia would have had me throwing things and cursing for hours. Have a great trip and tell Sally I say hello.

The genius at work! I think this pic was taken while he was explaining why I needed a Dyno after swapping bars.
