I have a 2006 Heritage Softail Classic. I absolutely LOVE the bike...but it periodically blows turn signals!! There doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason to it...no particular bulb blows any more than the other 3...but I can't go more than a month without blowing one???
When I took it back to the dealer they claim everything checks out fine & that I should just buy the LED bulbs that are garunteed not to blow from them for $25 a pop! If that is what I end up doing, I'll get them at autozone for $17 each (The fronts are 1157s & the rear are 1156s). Do any of you folks have any insight, or similar experiences? Thanks in advance

the only thing i could suggest is that the entire blinker isnt mounted tight enough. i know if a bulb shakes a lot it can blow out. check to see if its mounted tight enough. other then that im not to sure if an electrical problem could keep doing that. i would think it would blow a fuse 1st
I was losing my spots constantly and blinkers occasionally.
Dealer went through the electrical top-bottom and tightened everything under warranty.
They never found something that was the culprit, but I stopped blowing bulbs.
I did lose a spot recently again, but it had been 5k miles instead of a few hundred.
Something is wrong, LED isnt going to fix the problem, just put a bigger band aid over it. Search this forum, months ago someone had the same problem and a few causes that could apply. Good luck, dont ignore it, take it to a different dealer.
