If you can wait until late July/early August, that's when the deals on the 2010s will really be happening. The 2011s will be released somewhere around that time.

When I was trying to deal locally for my FB Lo, I mentioned cash and they did not flinch.
I called a dealer 7 hours away and they made a deal with me on the phone. They even would pay for half the delivery fee.
I picked up the bike with my brothers trailer.
Trip cost = $175 for gas, food, lodging.
Deal savings = $1,350.oo

 

I bought mine last week. My local dealer wouldn't budge off of MSRP so I went to Corona HD (about 20 miles away) and they immediately took $1000 off the top. I was also able to get the 5 year extended warranty for a discount and it included the tire warranty.

The bike was $15,708.86 + $2000 for the extra 5 years and tire warranty + tax.

I'd say you should fly out here to Sunny California...buy the bike and ride it home! It's summer now.
