I put on Wild 1 14" apes on my fat boy and have really started to like them. I'm 5'10" and they are about shoulder height on me maybe a little under. It took some miles before they got really comfortable but now I love them after 900 miles.

I'm 5'9" and have 20's but my apes bend back with a 2-3 inch drop, Real comfy. totally changes the position of your hand. Like someone posted earlier, it depends on the cut of the bars. Either way DO IT! Good luck.

I think the 12" with 1.5 risers are perfect on the Deluxe,had 16's thus the long cables.,Iam 5'11.....

Go for it. I'm 5'10" and have 14" on my Fatboy and love it. Rode over 350 miles last weekend and was very comfortable the whole time. It's like having power steering.

Don't do it. They're gonna make you look like an Ape riding down the road. Do you want to look like an Ape?

If stock is working stick with it.

There is a good reason you've delayed your decision. Think about it.

well i am going to the shop tomorrow to put some tubes in my tires because front rim is leaking so I will order the apes now 12.5 or 14's.

Carlini apes (preferably 1.5" diameter) compliment the Softail front end beautifully.

ordered the apes today wild 1's 12.5 ,1.5"risers ,and stainless cables.can't wait i am siked.
