had some spare time so i finished up the taillight wiring complete with harley connectors ofcoarse i also added a negative to ground the light directly .looks wierd because the light comes with a red and black wire but both are hot .
stopped by Aurora Electronics and had the plug wires made.
the xbones fender has a chrome arm attached to an axle spacer on the right side.the heritage has a spacer but it wont fit on the bushing that is now used on the xbones lower right side rocker.i could remove it but after carefully reading the manual and studying the pics .i came to the conclusion the xbones system is an upgrade as the heritage springer was and is known for riding like a roller skate <except when new or recently serviced>.
i say this because ive seen a few now that ride rigid the front end barely moves.when torqueing the axle nut the rockers can bind on the axle spacer and combined parts making it basically dead .so with that being said i cut the axle spacer off the arm going to the fender.ill smooth it out and powder coat it black ..
ok heres a pic of the bushing and how far it sticks out of the lower rocker.that is the biggest difference
