It is due to the lower suspension that makes it ride poorly. Get an air ride or longer shocks. the longer shocks will ruin the low p[profile of the bike. I can get you a nice air ride. PM me for pricing. It will ride much smoother as well.

Drew

Here is my ride with the air ride.

Let us know how it rides 2up. I'm interested in adjusting mine as well....if it makes a difference. Thanks.

I too have the Fatboy Lo - I have not really noticed any significant bumpiness when I ride (I'm 6'3" - 260 lbs). Even with my better half on the back (she's 5'9" - 125 lbs) we still enjoy a nice smooth ride. Perhaps the dealership dialed it in for me???

Not to hijack but I ride 2-up 70% of the time and haven't touched my shocks either. Heard they come set for 180lb....is that true?

Let us know what you decide to do with your FB lo. I'm looking into options as well. Thanks and good luck.

Steve

Its a fatboy not an Ultra Classic. The ride is not going to get any better. If you want to factor out some of the bumps and improve quality of your ride invest in a gel seat. I have just over 10,000 miles on my 09 fatty the ride is what it is.
