yep... just put the new bars on....
and i was going to sell the apes...
but the dealer seen the bike the week before... knew about them, and wanted them as part of the deal, in case the new prospective owner might not like the wide low bars...
After a few months of Riding, tweaking, replacing.. changing etc..
I realized a softail wasnt for me...
I went out and got back on a touring bike...
Not excited about all the costs...
But I got this for 8500 otd...
with roughly 1000 coming back from unused warranty...
Im sure Ill poke back in from time to time....
thanks for the help, opinions and Ideas!!!
Rick
Enjoy her! My Road Glide has been my favorite bike I have ever owned. Love the Rocker but it's no RG!!
Nice looking bike. I did the same thing, but missed the softail, so I was fortunate enough to have the best of both worlds. Maybe another will be in the cards for you down the road. Ride safe.
