Thanks! BTW this shoot was at the same studio as the VYV event a couple of months ago. I would love to shoot your bike in that studio one day. See ya Sunday in Lake Elsinore?

here is a couple of pics of my 06 nitetrain and 06 deluxe. These are Carlini "lowdown" bars on the nitetrain and drag bars on my deluxe with Carlini Piston Risers
I need to take some updated pics of my ntietrain. I recently installed a set of BR Custom bars. They are 1 1/2 inch thick tbars- 4 inch risers with 1 1/2 inch pullback and 28 inches wide.
Originally I had 18 inch Carlini apes on my deluxe but got "fed up" with apes and everyone else has apes....Also a pic of my deluxe with the Carlini "lowdown" bars.
Its taken me awhile and many handlebars to find the style i like
I happen to own the same bike. 07 FXSTC, black, V&H pipes, progressive lowering shocks, SE Race Tuner, etc.
I am wanting to change from the original mini-ape to a drag bar like you.
Wondering if you bought the Street Slammer bars from HD, or something else, and if you had to change any of your cabling. Of course HD Dealers say you have to, but i don't see why. Really would appreciate your help.
Also, on your air cleaner housing, I just bought the same one, but did you buy the Screaming Eagle backing plate \ filter, or like an Arlen Ness Big Sucker. (to change from the stock Football style backplate)
Thanks Again,

Awesome post. I've ordered 2 sets of bars and like neither. Still looking, this gives me a lot of ideas to pursue. I'm rolling the Fatboy stockers turned down as far as they can comfortably go.
I am running Wild 1 knuckle bars on my Fat Boy and they are low but not too low. I love the way the beach bars look but turning with them is a bummer for me. I am 6'3" so my knees are a little high with floorboards and beach bars hit my knees while turning even on the streets. Forces me to swing wide, which isn't so good sometimes. Had the 38.5 bars on an Indian a number of years ago and my buddy has them on his bike now. Now I find the knuckle bars or mentele bars to be a happy medium. By the way, Junior's bike is s i c k!

Yea i had the Chubby Wild1 knuckles on my bike also. Couldn't ride more than 20 miles without having sharp pains between the shoulder blades. lasted on my bike for about 1 1/2 months...hated them! here's the link to my bike with them installed... http://wild1inc.com/503ct.html
With 38.5" beachbars pushed down also isn't the most comforting position either on long hauls....just got finished with a 800 mile ride last weekend and had back pains also..... seriously thinken of going to apes next year. Sucks because i like the look of BB better.
