I always thought somebody might make some money by coming up with "Mock-Up Handlebars!"

You know, something cheap, even plastic, with telescoping risers and an adjustable pullback that somewhat matches what's available commercially.

To decide on mine I welded up some pipe I had laying around just for mock up purposes. Yeah, you could almost eyeball it, but get it wrong and it's Misery City.

The damn things came out so good I almost thought about chroming them!

But once I had the ballpark dimensions I found what I wanted at a swapmeet for just a few bucks . . .

On the other hand it might be a good opportunity to fool around with welding if you aren't already hip to it. A cheap POS Harbor Freight flux welder, or better yet a small Oxy/Acyt system would suffice. The latter would be better as you'll need the heat to bend the pipe.

I'm actually surprised new MOCO Harleys that go for 25 grand plus don't come with some kind of welding outfit, LOL . . .

Found the below at the LB Swapmeet for 20 bucks . . .

Killer bike man! Yeah I wish they did make adjustable mock up bars! That would be perfect!

I've got a 100 miles on it now, but no plates yet. So I've been being careful (riding mostly at night) as I'm a EMT on an ambulance and absolutely can't get any moving violations. I've an appointment with the DMV next week for the nightmare of getter her registered. Hoping for a clerk who's only thinking of lunch, LOL!

Amen! Thanks 9! Couldn't wait so I went ahead and ordered the 14". I like to take long rides so was thinking 16s were gonna be too much for my arms.
