Default Tie down advise please.

We are towing our bikes(4) in an enclosed trailer for Asheville in two weeks. We plan on using eye bolts through the harbor freight wheel chock and secured from underneith the trailer. Is a 3/8 eyebolt OK? Or should I us 1/2? Lowes has the 3/8 but I tend to overkill stuff so I thought I would ask you fine folks. This is my first time trailering my scoot.

3/8 will work that is what I used. Make sure you suck all the travel out of those front forks.

yeah and I heard to bottom the frame out on a 4x4. That way it is not as bad on the forks and it cant go anywhere.

Do not BOTTOM OUT the forks! You are going to bust the seals and damage them beyond repair. Use extra tie downs instead. 2 front, 2 rear and use another one to tie the bikes off to the side so they don't swing side to side. Tie the right bike to a point to the right side so it doesn't swing left and hit the bike on the left.

I've transported bikes and that's always a problem, that the bikes will start wobbling and touching each other. Handlebars can do quite a number on paint.
