Anyone have any experience with the Ridemaxx? I like the idea of switch on the fly, but not sure if its just a gimmick. The concept worked great in my Dodge Diesel I built up. From what i hear the unit is pretty new in the last couple years. Any input woudl be great, trying to narrow down a system without breaking the bank.
I was looking at these too. Installation looks super simple, but I was worried about them being new on the market too. I'd like to hear from someone who installed it. I downloaded the software and checked it out without the device. Looks simple enough, but doesn't have a lot of the stuff that other makers have. Like Thundermax... doesn't matter b/c I don't have a dyno at my house and won't be tweaking maps
Yeah I called them yesterday and are located about 2 hours from me. They said if I came up to the shop they would custom tune for free....or but the right map on for my setup.
i put one on my 2007 flhx in february. 3 weeks ago it started missing badly while in the mountains of virginia, and i limped it almost home to southern ohio and finally had to tow it back to columbus . now none of the phone numbers on their website are working. their sales director gave me his contact numbers back in april when i was downloading maps for it, but they too are not working. does anyone have any contact info for Ridemaxx? I need to get a warranty replacement. It didn't last 5000 miles. thanks.

You had to tow it back? Wouldn't it have been easier to remove the device? I have one it works well for me. Really easy to install (and take off). Smoothed things out have only switched maps on the fly a few times. The "auto" setting seems to work pretty well.
it would run way too rich and foul the plugs w/o the module connected. My last 3 tanks of gas-on 77 thru West virginia and Ohio I averaged 92 miles per tankful before it quit running.I changed plugs 3 times. I almost made it home. my mechanic stuck another module on it and it runs fine now. We have tried 5 different numbers for Ridemaxx and none work. A rep from Custom Chrome has been trying to contact them, but they cannot get in touch. Good luck.

Hello, do you know if American Micro Fuel is still in business, they do not reply to e mail and the web site is out???
I have a RideMaXX on my 2007 FLHT and it quit working, I had to remove it on the side of the road.
Thank you!
Thats too funny....I have been checking their website every so often just to see and now its clear as day. Good thing I held out...just bought a power vision and couldnt be happier.
