Much better looking bars. I have been looking into tose Carlini's as a winter project. Went with Klockwerks bars last year but looking for a change. What length cables did you need to go with for those bars?
By the way I just switched my Big Sucker over to an S&S last night. I saw it on your bike awhile ago and it just got the "I need new parts wheels" turning. Sometimes my wallet really hates this forum
Those are beautiful. I liked the taller ones better, but whatever is comfortable for you. You bike is an inspiration in many ways. I still lvoethe fact that you don't ahve any switch hosuings. Very clean looking. I jsut got a slim PM switch hosuing for the left side of my bars but have not had time to get it mounted yet. Your bike was the inspiration, although I do need to have signals and such. If I were to remove them I know I would get in trouble. Just the kind of luck I have.
Yeah, I'm lucky to live in Colorado. To be legal, we only need 1 mirror, tail/headlight, and a horn. I've never been hassled about no horn. I do plan on putting a mirror on for conveniences sake.
I dig them much better man. I think the apes are everywhere anyway it's nice to see some different shiz out there. Thats why I went w/ my monkey bars, there not like the rest. Wern't you running an internal throttle too?
Yeah I bought the bike stock. The internal throttle was kinda dicey with the sharp bend of the new bars. Plus, it's real nice to have a throttle lock again.
Looks awesome. Very clean and uncluttered. I wanted some big apes pretty bad for awhile, but after putting on the stock Street Bob bars (10" rise), I love 'em.
