Default Front tire size...

What's the widest tire you can run on a stock 21" deuce rim, I wanna run metzlers if possible, that skinny front tire is so "tracky" with the shetty roads we have around here. Constructive comments please.

I believe it is a 2.25" wide, but not sure off the top of my head...

I wouldn't go any wider than a 90 on a 2.15 rim. I know there are guys running 120 on a 2.15 but I wouldn't do it.

you will find the tire pattern does more for "tracky" than the width. Metzler or avon

Has anyone ran the 140/70 21 on a 21x3.5 wheel? I run the 120 on mine right now and am needing to replace it do to sidewall cracking.

I went with a Metzeler ME880 90/90H21 on the front when I changed the rear to 18x5.5 with a 200 metz. The Dunlops used to track in the groves while the Metz goes where you aim the bike. Much better tire combo IMO

First off...NICE DEUCE! But yes, I run the me880's on mine too, was just wondering if there was anything available that was a touch wider, it's time for tires, so now would be the time to try it, or at least that was my thinking.

I've thought about losin' my 10" T-bars for some apes, but didn't know how they'd look with the deuces lines....now I know, I like!
