There were rockers sold on ebay this past winter in the 11 - 12 range. Yeah I know, it's not winter unless you're in Australia.8 grand for a wreck, no way. Anyone thinking about buying a wreck and rebuildin it better check with their state DOT first. A buddy of mine did this and it was a nightmare gettin a title for it with all the documentation they required.

Just my opinion but here is goes! 8k .... THAT WILL NEVER EVER GO DOWN THE ROAD STRAIGHT AGAIN AFTER THAT HIT! The only thing in my opinion worth the salvage time is the engine. If you wanted to do a ground up build it would be a good score for 4k! If you are not prepared to do a custom build ... RUN!

its in north dakota,
and the salvage guy is kinda a hard *** and doesnt like to dicker much.

i was just lookin at the rocker because the custom work is mostly done... you know what i mean?

Im new to harleys and curious what bike is best to mod the fenders and make look similar to a rocker, with a cheaper price tag. Once i get it i will repaint and do engine work anyways.

Thanks guys!

The Deuce.
Very long thread, but a guy mod'd his Deuce and even a dealer thought he had gotten a Rocker prior to their release if I'm remembering correctly.
