Help with Bag Hardware....
My brother has a 2005 Softail Deluxe.... It has saddle bags on it now. He bought it used with the bags on it already... He likes the look of my bike without them... He wants to remove them. He will need new hardware to bolt everything back together...... We want to get it for him for his Birthday this Friday. Does anybody know if there is a kit for the hardware that we can buy.... Thanks guys....

If I'm reading this right you want to remove the bags and replace the strut screws that will be missing after the bag removal. There is a HD kit to replace the stock screws with chrome ones for $40.

Yep that is exactly what I want to do... Get rid of the bags... It looks as if that kit is perfect. Thank you so much. I am going to order it now. Thanks again.

I took the bolt size to ACE Hardware, they have a very large selection of chrome bolts, and replaced them for about 1/3 cost of that kit. Call up the parts guy at the Harley Shop ask for the bolt and then get the part number or the specs of the bolt.
