I am starting a fairing project on my '94 Heritage. I currently have a detachable windshield. Does anyone know where I can buy brackets for my fairing that are designed/sized to use the existing detachable mounts?
You can buy them from the dealer (way expensive, like $200+ for a set), buy a windshield off ebay with them (got mine for $50) and refab them to work on your fairing, fab up a set using your windshield mounts as templates, or check out the Memphis Shades brackets.
You didn't mention which type of fairing you're using. If you bought the Memphis Shades fairing, you can get the brackets easily. If you have a different aftermarket fairing, contact the manufacturer. If you have an older OEM fairing, like mine, you can stretch the existing brackets and notch them like a set for windshields.
