JLOX, just went through the thread again admiring your mods and noticed you got the Wave 2 bars. Did you go with the 1.5 or 1.25 inch?
I decided to go with 1.5 inch on my bars. No Wendys near, so I needed the beef.

Reason: I R not very observant
Usually starts to cool off about now, but going through a bit of a hot spell. The nights are great, and if you can get out before 10am your golden. Of course you need a bike to ride, so i'm just sit'n around the back yard on the weekend listening to all the bikes fire up and head out. October is ideal weather. November is great as well. Headed down to a bike rally in Mexico in early November. Mornings are a bit chilly, but after 10am, it's back to a T-Shirt.
Hawaii 5, those are some great shots. I was in Oahu in April with some friends of mine for a golf tourney. One of my buddies grew up there. Rented some Harley's and we toured around the island. Was an awesome day, man I envy you for get'n to ride there year round!!! Gonna head back this april for the same tourney, but my minds already on the ride'n! What Island you on?
Kowan, I went with the 1.25 inch bars. Having them powder coated flat black to match the scoot. If he told you 6 weeks, expect to wait every day of those 6 weeks. I also had him increase the rise to 14" vs the standard 12. Can't wait to get them in and on the bike... i need another month in the cage like i need a hole in my head!
JLOX, I live on Oahu on the windward side. Hey give a buzz when you're on the Island and we can cruise the island with some of the other HDF island boys.
Was just by the shop. Bars are on, and look killer. waiting for the tins again. I didn't like them so sent them back to have re-painted. They should be back tomorrow morning. Their cut'n it close as i was plan'n to head up to Payson on Saturday. Joe What, what time you and your crew rolling out? We were think'n about 7am, but gotta get my bike by end of day tomorrow.
DONE! well almost. Have a few tweeks, but I'm ride'n again. Photos didn't come out great, and I'll post some better ones when I return. Out for the week and taking a ride up north.
