I use the HD Mini Floorboards on my Softail. My wife wanted more than just a peg. So after endless searching for style, and prices, and looking at different configurations on mounting I was happy to of found these in the HD Wish Book. My wife liked them so much more than a peg and they don't have the large footprint of traditional floorboards. The angle on them is adjustable, and they fold up like a peg when not used. So I went and bought a pair for myself as well. For me...and the wife, it's the best of both worlds.
I really liked the fact that the angle is adjustable...
If you look close at the sig pic..... (I'll add another too) you can see the rear boards are folded up....mine are not.

I have those on the rear now and might just get another set for the front. Good looking bike!!! The Fatboy floorboards that I have seen have 2 mounting points so without changing tha brackets to the frame they wont work. If you know of a single mount floorboard besides the Mini post up a parts number and I'll look at it. Thanks
I'm getting ready to do this conversion, but had the same questions...
The bike is an '06 FXSTS-I and the floorboard donor bike is an '05 FLSTS-I. I've heard different answers to this question. One says everything will work, another one says I'll need a new master cyl. and brakeline, and another says none of it will work. What gives?
I got forward controls from an 07 deuce off ebay and bolted them right up to my 08 fatboy. Everything bolts up the same whether it's forwards or floorboards, just make sure you use 07 or up.

Strange you say "make sure you use '07 or up" as I used '10 floorboards on my '06 Train....
Well I did the swap last night, everything worked out. the master is the same, but I had to re-bend my steel brake line a little so it wouldn't contact the bracket. No biggie. I love it! Any one want to buy stock forwards?
Well,
Here are the pics of the 'CustomChrome kit ' I told you about early,
90$, and 25 minutes of installation time , and did not have to change a thing, not bad at all

Looks real nice, thanks for posting up the photos, gives me more to think about.

Those are the ones I was looking at also. Still would like the full xbones setup, but this seems cheap and easy (which always makes me nervous. Nothing is ever easy for me).
Can you post a couple more pics? Maybe a top down to see both boards and hows the riding feedback? Do the shifter and brake positions feel jacked up?
Oh, one more. Cant tell, but did you go with the shakers or flats?
