Default 2010 FXSTC tire pressure?

My manual say 30 lbs. in the front and 42 lbs. in the rear. Rear I can understand, but 30 in the front seems quite low.

Any opinions on this?

Tks.

run exactly those pressures on my 07. Got 21000 miles on it now . Always had 30 psi in the front. Always handled and stopped ok.

If your asking for opinions you'll get 18 thousand of them here...go with the manual recommendation.

If you look real carefully in the manual or it's the service manual it says 38psi rear tire 1 person 42 psi 2 persons

I say look on the tire itself. It will have the MAX PSI stamped right there on every tire. Keep in mind that is the MAX....
I'm running the Dunlop 408 in the front with a max of 40PSI and I run 36-38 riding two up mostly. The Rear is a 200MM on my bike..a Dunlop 407 with a MAX of 42PSA I run 38-40PSI two up.
