[QUOTE=DR. V-TWIN;6980347]The thing I liked about the Lick's bag the best was that it had plastic clips to fasten the bag making it a breeze to open and close. I had another version before that had the straps outside for opening and closing and it was a PITA to get into. It sill has straps on the outside but they are there for show only.
+1 in the Lick's bag...good quality and easy to open and close!
I have the Garage Leathers bag. I love it. Really give the bike and old-school look. Only one thing to keep in mind, the straps are a little tough to close at first until the leather loosens up a bit. Now it's no problem.

I assume you went with the Garage Leathers two strap version.
The single buckle version is a piece of cake to operate from day one.
I'm partial to the metal buckle version...it is VERY unique and old school looking.
Nice pics Thewholehog. I found that buckle on the parts shelf at my shop. It was an old tractor seatbelt. Tomorrow I meet with my saddle maker (horse kind) to custom make me that bag. I will post pics when he is done!
