Default Broken Spoke

The other day i was drying my rims and one of the rear spokes broke off. I was rearended on the bike a couple months ago and the car hit me directly in the rear tire.

Im dropping the bike off at my shop on monday. It's a 40 spoke rim, do you think riding around this weekend on 39 spokes is safe or should I just wait it out?

The shop said its safe, what do you think?

I wouldn't do any high speed, check for wobble or bad feeling in stearing.
Have U noticed any issues like tire balance, or ???
Lot of people ride with loose spokes and don't ever know it..
I would still get her fixed ASAP...

If another one pops then i'd park her

I'd check to see if the wheel has shifted out of true, at the very least. Also check for any additional loose spokes. It doesn't take much to lose the integrity of the whole wheel.
