Looking for some ideas to bring the 'luxe a little closer to the high standards I've seen in pictures on this site. I'm pretty happy with the way she is, but.....the bar has been set by several of you Deluxe owners.
It is your bike, you need to use your own imagination and taste. That is what this is all about. There are things you obviously like that you are seeing, you need to put it together in your head and build it.
Yeah, make it yours. You have a great looking bike to start. Think about changes that may also make the ride better for you - seat, bars, suspension, wheels... even leaving the shield on.

That stock straight up and down bracket has got to go.
Wow, plenty of options available to hook that ride up. I'd get some true duals with fishtails, some sort of air cleaner, Ride Wright rims, an air ride, a C&C seat, and the list goes on. That is just for starters. When you decide what to do with your bike drop me a line for discounted forum pricing.
What do you like, and what kind of riding do you do? There's a ton of different styles of Deluxes here, from what I call the Hawaiian style with beach bars and the low and long look, to a SoCal style with apes, to those with a lot of bling.
But the biggest thing is what style do you want? Figure out what you want, then you can find a ton of ideas on your own, plus everyone around here is willing to help and answer questions.
I think it's pretty solid the way it is. But since you asked, what jumps out to me is wheels. I want wheels for mine too. I like the Ride Wrights myself, but there are lots of options out there. Chromed out wheels.
After that, IMHO, handlebars. A friend of a friend of a friend rode up to Laconia on the sickest Deluxe I've ever seen. I got lots of ideas from that. He had some 1-piece style bars (integrated risers) that really cleaned up that area. Chrome out the control pods while there... Also, the dash console. I'm eyeing that Low Profile one from HD for mine. He had that one, looks amazing. A C&C seat would look good too, but I like the looks of the stocker that on there, so I wouldn't mess with it if your comfortable (don't sacrifice comfort for style, IMHO).
