PC-V is under my seat. Took ECM bracket off, and the metal bracket for the relays. put the connectors between the ECM and the relays, ran the cable for the PCV around the side along the fram and the PC-V itself just in front of the battery
Under the seat. I have an 05 and that is where it goes. They give you a box where your ecm goes but it's deeper so you can put both your ecm and pcIII in.
Depends on what year bike. On 2006 and later bikes there is less room under the seats. Dealer told me they were putting them under the rear fender. Mine fits fine with the supplied ECM box under the seat. Different seats have different clearances. Mine also fits in the space between the fuse box and right frame rail but is not as protected and needs to be zip-tied.
Mine is under the seat on top of the ECM with a deeper tray as well. Fits fine with any seat I have tried. See if you can get a deeper tray for your ECM.
I ended up putting it where the alarm box box goes between the splash gaurd and the backside of the oil tank and snaking the plugs up. 07 Nightrains don't have the tray for the ECM its mounted too the fender. But a major pita not a 15 min install. Ha
