Question Slight Rub

So my front brake rubs slightly....It is not the bearing...asked an old local mechanic (not from Harley steeler)...he said that is normal for an 01 fatty.

1) Is he full of it?
2) Is it possible to adjust it out?

I did take it on a 150 mile chairty ride last weekend with no problems.
Thanks Forge.

Rubbing is normal. To test, go on a ride then lift your bike up. If your wheel spins ~1 1/2 turns then all is good. If it turns less than one revolution, clean pistons and pad pins. No adjusting, only proper cleaning and servicing.

Haa!! I wish..at least the Rich part...I do fully support the RUBS...cause the more they buy and get tired of the bikes...then more deals will arise...That is how I got my current bike...01 Fatty with 3500 miles...under book value...guess the economy has something to do with it also.
