I have a '07 NT and while it is great around town and on short one day rides. I want to start going for multiple week to multiple month rides. I like my NT, will the Progressive front fork and Progressive 442 rear shocks improve the ride? I'm open for other suggestions too.

I think it would read like this: "I like my NT, is the Progressive front fork and Progressive 442 rear shocks, a mod that will improve the ride?".
And yes, from what i have heard these mods would improve your riding comfort, however, I think others have said that there are better options. I am not "up" on all of the shocks, so I will leave it at that...

If you really want a smoother ride get an air ride for the rear. The progressive 422's are a little bit better, but not enough of an improvement in my book. fI run the Platinum Bleed Feed kit on my ride and it really rides great. Their front springs and a heavier oil will make for a better ride in the front. Of course I can get you this stuff all at discounted forum pricing.
