Default black powder coating help

I have a Fatboy lo and just installed the HD oil cooler. The cooler comes with a chrome cover. I wanted to powder coat the cover maybe either a semi or flat black. Would the powder coating be able to handle the heat of the cooler or should I have them ceramic coated instead? The ceramic has to cure five days were the powder coating would be good to go right out of the box....plus I may be wrong but I think powder coating would have a better finish??? Help please..........

Powder coat will be fine. That's what is on the motor and it gets plenty hot.....

If you wanted to try it yourself, you can get some high heat paint at an automotive supply and paint it. Some paints are only rated at 350 degrees, some go up to 1500 degrees. Caliper paint works well. Make sure that you scuff the chrome plating as best as you can with 320 grit sandpaper.
