Big Buffalo bars on a Deuce

Default Big Buffalo bars on a Deuce
I'm putting Big Buffalo's 1.5 in bars on my deuce. I had noticed that the Street Slammers required a spacer for the Deuce. As removing the stock bars leaves the void where the stock bars recess into the triple tree I was wondering if I need the same spacer for the Buffalos?
