no - his original post was 7/25. gave him several days to process the answers. he never said he didn't have family/friends to advise him, either.

my first bike after a 30 year lay-off was a new Fatboy. I didn't want to screw around with junker metrics first. (no offense meant if that's what you like or ride)

Congrats on the bike, Deluxe is a great bike. I ride my wife's sometimes. If that bike has all the chrome and that mileage. That's a real good price. Post some pictures.....

Sounds like you got yourself a great deal there, and 5 speed is just fine, we all survived for years with 5 speed trannies.
