2010 Heritage Classice adding a chrome rail to seat?
Anybody tried to add a heritage springer chrome rail to seat or just the chrome rail ? I like the look of a low back rest, one you can swing your leg over. I've seen it added to older bikes just not sure it would fit 2010. I know the pads for the springer are obsolote, hard to find, and costly.
bought a Deluxe seat specifically for the seat rail. I swap that seat on and off of my Herritage with the original seat for comfort. I find the heritage seat much more comfortable but I love the look of the Deluxe seat
If you can find a Deluxe Seat pan, you could just use it on your current Heritage seat. You need to Deluxe seat pan, so you have the place to bolt the rail on.
You will also need to put some holes in the Heritage seat skirt, since the rail goes through holes in the skirt.
