for me it depends on the size of your hands, I have the big ones on my bike and like them. When I bought my wifes sporty it had the big ones on there and she was having a hard time grabbing the clutch, also grabbing the front brake without rolling the throttle some, I switched her out to the smaller ones and she has had no problems and likes those much better.
Same for me. I have tried the bigger ones and it stretches my thumb into an uncomfortable position which in turn puts a strain on my wrist. Already have enough issues with my hand going numb.
