i installed these saddlebag guards today and i am really uncertain about them. would a set of heritage springer guards look better? i would like some opinions. i personally think they look awkward.
IMO....those look like $hit...SORRY but YES springer guards would look 100% better...its all about the bends you know. If i were ever to put bag guards on, Theres only one choice "springer guards"....your bike though you decide...Are you gonna put a square engine guard on also? Like your bike though but not the bag guards..

Thats a definite no no, knew by first picture but checked em all anyways
Those guards you got will never look right. Tough love - hope you get the ones you need!
what bags do u have? put the bags on and see what it looks like.
I put a set of heritage bag guards on the wife's deluxe and it looked good with the bags (deluxe bags)
thats the thing im not going to run any bags at all. i just wanted the guards. i thought they looked like **** too, really. so will the heritage guards fit? anyone got any for sale and anyone wanna buy these?

Anything without the bags is gonna look like crap. Glad it's your bike and not mine.
Yeah, there are better ideas if you're just looking for protection from the rear. Something much smaller would be my choice. Maybe something like the Lindby Rear Bar would work. Basically a passenger peg with lowers. It will help protect you if you go down but I still don't like the look without bags.
I'm guessing that you just bought the bike and the original owner kept his bags and now you want to know if you should remove the guards. Or an even better question would be. Why would you put on bag guards with out having bags , but not put on an engine guard ???
