just got it running yesterday hence the photo op. yeah it's pretty fun to put around on, not street legal though. my grandpa gave it to me, he's got a bunch of em in his garage. it's a 1942 knucklehead- 74inch motor. fun just to mess around with. my dad has two others and he said I could mix and match parts to make it stock again if I want to. might be a fun project.

It sounds like you are a lucky person. Your grandpa has a bunch of them and your dad has a couple. I think that it would be great to be able to look and play around with the old motorcycles. At least I think that you are lucky.

yeah I feel lucky, right now I have two 1942 HD's along with a 1972 shovelhead in my garage that I can work on. The shovel runs fine, it's just dirty as hell. The battery goes dead alot so I don't know if it's under or overcharging the system. Anyways, I'm having a good time with it.

when I get frustrated with the old ones I can always go fire up my night train and take a spin around the block.

Very nice. It would be cool if you could bring her back around again and make her look new...
