I find the seat on my 06 Softail standard uncomfortable on longer rides. I was thinking of buying a gel pad to put on the seat. Does anybody have any expirience with them? Do they add some comfort?
I had C&C seats put gel pads in my old Sportster and my Deluxe. They do add a bit of comfort. I don't like the ones that sit on top of the seat and haven't tried them. I guess if they'll stay in one place and not move when you move, they'd be fine. But in the seat is a better option.
I dont care for the ones that sit on top of the seat either, but I would try them first before I had one installed in my seat then found out I didnt like it
I have both the gel and the badlander and my *** likes the badlander better. The lepera gel looks great but for lond distances my choice is the Badlander.

I bought one and did not like it. It sits in my workshop. Waste of $$ IMHO. If you want to buy a used one, PM me.
A friend of mine that got out of bike riding gave me one last week. It sits on top of the seat. I'm going to try it out on a trip to the New River Gorge area of WV in about a week.
I have a pro-pad that I use with the Corbin when I'm going to be on it for more than 5-6 hours. It stays in place and feels really good. Only downside is the slight increase in height, and that isn't a problem.
