I bled mine from the bottom up using a big plastic syrenge w/ some plastic hose attached to the caliper bleed port. Fill syrenge w/ fluid (DOT 5 for me) and push it up to the master cyl. This seems to work a lot faster for me. If you use DOT 5, don't worry about it getting on anything, it's silicone based. The older fluid used to eat shiat up if it got on paint etc...
