Hey all, I am buying some oem bags for my 05 deluxe. I was wondering if I could use easybrackets with them. I don't think new they come with mounting hardware? thanks for the help.
before you buy the oem bags, you should look at http://www.hogdeluxe.com/products.htm bags. They're built to match the Deluxe perfectly and they have a lot bigger capacity. The oem's are so small and the locks are plastic. They do look nice, but they don't hold much.
The wife uses the stock bags on her bike and she likes them for carring around her daily woman **** but as noted above limited space if your planning on touring.
I saw the easy brakets and it seems the stock bags sit out of the fender quite a bit maybe 2" gap?? and l@@ks, well I don't like it.
I just bolt her bags on and if she wants then off it takes 2 minites to unbolt not a big deal.
