I removed mine tonight, took longer to find all my tools then to do the job!
Looks alot better, thanks to the OP for making this post, learn something useful all the time here.

Just removed mine with the help of a friend. Must have taken 10 minutes or so. Can't believe the difference. Looks way cleaner. Should have done this a long time ago.

I had to remove my 21" front tire due to some tire issues, I put my original 16" back on for now and got rid of the chrome dome. I think it looks way better with out it. The dome covers the cool looking hub.

With it off it gives the illusion the wheel is bigger, maybe I can convince myself my 16" is a 21.

I think it looks way cleaner... I've read through this thread before, but didn't realize it was that old LOL!! I'm sure someone still has one to sell Dually.
